Salted Caramel Mocha Recipe

Recipe for 1 Cup Salted Caramel Mocha

RECIPE:

Ingredients Required:

3/4 cups full fat milk 
1 tbsp caramel sauce (recipe below)
Pinch of cornflour
1-2 drops of real vanilla essence 
1 tsp cocoa powder (sweet)
2 tsp instant coffee powder
2 tsp water 
Whipped cream



Procedure:

Step 1:  Mix  caramel sauce, cocoa powder, instant coffee powder and a pinch of sea salt in a mug for 2 mins. 

Step 2:  Boil the milk in a separate container, add cornflour and vanilla essence.

Step 4: Pour this boiled hot milk to the caramel, coffee mixture.

Step 3: Top with whipped cream, drizzle caramel sauce. 





Salted Caramel Syrup 




Makes enough for around 3-4 salted caramel mocha or hot chocolate beverages

1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons salted butter
1/4 cup Amul cream (room temperature)
Salt (a pinch)



Step 1: In a medium saucepan, melt  the sugar over medium heat, stirring occasionally with a spatula.

Step 2:  When it turns a deep golden color, add the butter and stir until it is melted. 

Step 3: Add cream and salt.  whisk until the caramel is smooth. (low heat)

Step 4: Remove from heat and let it come to the room temperature.
