Relish this apple, chocolate, cinnamon cake served warm with ice cream – a delicious baked dessert.
Ingredients required:
All purpose flour – 2 cup
Granulated Sugar – 1 cup
Cocoa powder – 1 tbsp
Baking soda (meetha soda) – 1 teaspoon
Curd- 3/4 cup
Oil – ½ cup
Apple essence – 1 tsp
Cinammon powder - 2 tsp
Fresh apple - 1 shredded and peeled
Instructions
Step 1. Preheat oven to 180 degree C
Step 2. Line the cake tray with butter sheet
Step 3: Sieve and Mix all dry ingredients (All purpose flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, cinamon powder)
Step 4: In a bowl, beat oil and sugar with a spatula or hand blender on a medium speed until light and fluffy. Add Curd to it.
Step 5: Turn the mixer to low and gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing only until the flour mixture is incorporated. Add the grated apples and mix briefly.
Step 6. Pour the mixture in cake tray and bake it in pre-heated oven for about 20-55 minutes (do toothpick test to check)
Step 7. Remove it from oven and let them cool completely before frosting.
